I'm glad abdominal migraine is linked on this page as it is less known than migraine headache. It is NOT however, a migraine of the stomach as the title states. Those interested in how this works would enjoy reading more about the gut/brain connection where more information may be found. Many mothers with Migrainous children find that, when going back into their memories their children suffered "colic" early as babies. Many of these same moms think that these colic episodes may be early abdominal migraine, however I have unfortunately not yet found any research about it. The link is pretty good and I'm glad to see it here.
explains, kind of what an abdominal migraine is, but it only covers children, and then says that kids will grow out of it. I am in my 30's and have had them since at a very early age. I wish it said some more about what happens when it goes into adulthood or even acknowledge that fact that there are a few of us out there that still have it and it isn't going away. Left me a little disappointed.
good overview of abdominal issues
